cyber polygon has begun

I posted about the Cyber Polygon simulation event last month. July 9th the event was hosted to simulate global and internal power outages. As of 1 pm central time, these websites have been down today:

You can find more information about the outages here. The McAfee dead man's switch was actually supposed to be released today, but big surprise, that website went down as well. I don't know where I stand on the whole McAfee issue, but I will admit the timing is very strange. Although nothing is really strange to me at all anymore.

I don't know what is next, but everything does seem to be going along right on their schedule.
