When Elon Musk bought twitter, I wasn't surprised. When he changed it's name to X, I wasn't very surprised either.  Maybe I didn't understand the X, I just wasn't surprised that he took over a company and suddenly changed it. He immediately changed his title from CEO to 'chief twit' or chief fool. With African roots, the word Elon means 'spirit' and Musk is a large goat, so "spirit of the large goat." Huh. I don't often think names have too much meaning in this day and age....unless your mom is a witch or your parents are in the upper echelon of society making decisions that we will never know about.  I've just never understood the love of the Musk, because he's just an arrogant rich kid. I went to the library because I wanted some books on middle and dark ages art. I used to go to the library once, sometimes twice a week, but I rarely go anymore. It's just kind of disappointing to bring home a stack of books and not be able to mentally latch on to a single one. But as a person who previously knew and enjoyed how to read (and still loves to huff the pages of an old book,) the library is still a comforting spot for me, although I have not been in person in probably six months at least. If there were a book I thought I might be able to read I would just use the libby app or kindle unlimited.  The library is not exactly difficult for me because there is not much over-stimulation there, but alphabetical order is a problem. I don't think I'll ever get used to being a bad speller because this was something that always came so naturally to me. At the food bank when I am re-filing, I am always having to sing the ABC song in my mind when alphabetizing the files.  Som

*So, uh, this mug shot looks very much like AI. What is wrong with his eyes? I know he hasn't been crying, but his eyes look like he just took a big ol' bong rip. I understand that angles can play a big part in pictures, but his head is usually much more square and flabby. There is no way this was Trump's actual mugshot. We started our school year back on Monday, which didn't require much on my part other than choosing what classes the kids are taking. I put Gage in an AP English class, and when he realized how many essays he would be having to type he wanted to argue with me that it was going to take up too much time. Oh, my dear eldest son, all that you have is time. It is my constant prayer that your consciousness will be pricked and that you will use your time and your talents on anyone other than yourself. Because you have so much talent and you have SO MUCH TIME. I have had the  Apocalypse of Abraham  pdf pulled up on my laptop for a few weeks. Comparing what I know from the scriptures of Isaiah and Revelation, as well as Enoch, and then extra-biblical books such as Jasher and Jubilees, every single one of these books has so many parallels and none of them discredit the other. In fact, they mostly answer questions and give me more filler detail for things that have baffled my mind for most of my life. If anything, these were the stories the ancient Israelites believed. What I find fascinating in all these accounts that scholars claim should not be canon, is that the writers accounts of heaven are 100% the same. Yesterday I thought I had a 'free day' because it wasn't a Wednesday that I was going to watch my nephew. Since I've been at the food bank a lot more because of our director's surgery, I have basically been taking naps every day when I get home.
