weird things are happening v.147

*Uri Geller claims to have a real photo of a female alien.

*The host for Miss Hong Kong 2023 was an AI emcee, Evelyn. Evelyn's appearance was generated from photos of the past 50 years of winners combined.

*Covid is evolving in white-tailed deer. Hold on a moment. Peppy and I only made it through two episodes of last season's American Horror Story because I don't need to see any sadomasochism with a touch of horror on the side. Although, I am almost CERTAIN that one of the story lines involved viruses in deer. Yep. Just googled it. Actually (according to the website) it was lab created ticks carried by the deer that caused AIDS, just like the lonestar tick and the GMO mosquitoes that have been released. And then this season is supposed to be about genetically modified babies, so you know.

A vaccine that works? Gee wilikers, what a novel idea! Remember all the times we were told "If you get the covid vaccine you will NOT get covid?" Then they tried to memory hole all the politicians and professional opinions that spouted that garbage.

*I found this old article that claims the antivaxx movement started with the smallpox vaccine, because people were convinced that if they received this vaccine they would have half cow babies. Probably because 'vacca' in latin means cow. Cash vacca, baby.

*Orlando's first self-driving shuttle bus crashed just two days after launch.

*What are these perfectly aligned holes at the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean?

*Hikers spot a naked wolf man in the mountains in Germany.

*Chemistry student caught injecting opioid chemical agent under his neighbor's doorway after complaining that he was losing sleep over the noise of their newborn.

*Study shows masks are linked to cancer and seizures. Didn't we know that already?

*Live worm was found in Australian woman's brain.

*Hawaiian Electric says power lines were shut off for at least six hours before the fires.

*Facebook and Instagram block Canadians from accessing domestic news.

*Idalia has moved from tropical storm to hurricane  as it reaches Florida coast.
