I knew the time change was going to mess with me. The past few weeks my body has been waking me up a little earlier every day, and this morning (if you can truly call it that,) I woke up at 3:39 with Parquet Courts "Wide Awake" running through my mind. I tried to go back to sleep, but it was not going to happen.
I'm wide awake. Mind so awoke cause my brain never pushed the brake. I'm wide awake. Eyes so open that my vision is as sharp as a blade.
I'm no scholar, but I think that song might have to do something with cocaine or stimulants of some kind, which is not the reason I'm wide awake. But if you are familiar with this song, you know it has a bit of a dance-y beat to it, so not only was my mind awake, but my body was wanting to move along too. What is the opposite of an insomniac? Because I have no trouble falling asleep. You know what, I'm just thankful that I can leave my bedroom and have room to move around and not worry about shaking the RV and making someone wake up. Cold, early mornings in the RV could sometimes feel a little claustrophobic. I felt like I couldn't move around much, because I didn't want to wake anyone up. A few weeks ago I was randomly reminded of how I used to have to shut off all the space heaters before I could make coffee each morning or I would trip the breaker. Small luxuries.
*Eight people died at the Astroworld music festival, while hundreds more were injured. There are various theories including being trampled during a stampede, drugs laced with fentanyl, frequencies in sound waves causing cardiac arrest, and a mysterious person injecting people with something. I'm not sure what happened, but I have a few thoughts. Travis Scott was the headliner of this festival, and if you didn't know, he is the baby daddy to Kylie Jenner's child(ren.) Any man that gets connected to that coven of witches will never be the same. You cannot convince me that the Kardashian/Jenner women are not witches. They destroy any man they get their talons into. There is footage of Travis calling out for help for injured attendees, but there's also this clip of Travis, appearing to be in a weird trance while chanting, as he stares at a unconscious (dead?) person as they are carried away from the crowd. I'm sharing the video, but head's up, I literally had a visceral reaction to this. I know it's just one small clip that could be taken out of context, but it felt evil. Maybe he was under some kind of mind control. Concert attendees are reporting that this is what they imagine hell being like. People were screaming for help, while being trampled, and the stage crew blatantly ignored them. The show must go on.

*Oklahoma jail officers played Baby Shark repeatedly as a torture tactic. I believe it would work too. A few years ago, in the height of the Baby Shark phenomena, Owsley and I left Disney World a little earlier than Gage and Peppy, and we ended up on a bus that we still refer to as the 'baby rave.' It was around 10 pm and the bus driver started blasting Baby Shark, while numerous toddlers ran up and down the aisles shrieking and playing with bubble wands and all the parents were making the hand gestures. The ten minute bus ride back to the hotel felt like it was at least seven hours long.
*Special blood test will reveal which Russians are vaccinated.
*NYC mayor will offer aged kids 5-11 $100 to take the vaccine. Piles of trash are also accumulating all over the city after Mayor De Blasio sends home sanitation workers after they refuse the vaccination.
*Emilio Estevez will not be returning to the Mighty Ducks series because of vaccination requirements. I hate that people are being 'cancelled' for not following this fake narrative, but at the same time, it makes me happy that people with a much larger platform than I have are standing up for what they feel is right.

*Ok, so this story is absolutely heartbreaking. Amazon tribe, who has never even heard of covid, is vaccinated. I am not a naturally angry person, but articles like this, and the ones about vaccinating children and pregnant women make me feel so angry.
*Speaking of anger- Yale doctors says that soon babies as young as six months old will be eligible for vaccination. I wonder if strokes and heart attacks will become "normal" for babies.
