Nothing has been going on around here lately. Seriously, nothing. We've been passing around a cold this past week, so we've been lazing around and doing absolutely nothing. I've been watching way more Netflix than is normal for me, and we've been playing board games and laughing at how stupid our brains are being when we can't mentally calculate our scores. Fortunately we seem to be on the other side of it now. You can always tell when you're getting better when you wake up, freezing and soaked, in your bittersweet smelling sweat. We are supposed to go to my in-law's house for Thanksgiving. We haven't been there in a year. Hopefully there will be no more loogie coughs today, because we definitely don't want to head to their house and get anyone sick. Peppy and Gage have had the hardest time shaking it, and I wonder if it's because Peppy works from home now and Gage basically never wants to go anywhere, so their immunities are lower than mine and Owsley's, who do the weekly grocery shopping and errands. Just a thought. I imagine many, many people have lower than normal immune systems right now.
I'm still waking up at obscene hours of the early morning, and then when the sun goes down before 5 pm my body thinks it is time for bed. I consider it a good morning if I sleep past 4 am. I have been using my mornings to catch up on season two of The Chosen. This is a great show about Christ and his apostles, and I would recommend it to anyone. Both seasons are free on youtube. Sure, they have taken some creative liberties that my more legalistic brothers and sisters might frown at, but it really does bring the bible to life, especially for visual learners.
Just a random observation...Black Lives Matter is beginning to ramp up again. Isn't it interesting how these big topics can be filed away and basically forgotten, until that particular agenda needs to be ramped up again? Also, I heard two new terms this week "Black supremacist" and "Sudden Adult Death Syndrome."

*Do you remember the Wayfair child trafficking scandal? It seemed to disappear as fast as it made headlines. A former employee claims that a high up manager has been indicted for felony surveillance with sexual intent.
*Stores are using decoys to mimic full grocery shelves. I haven't experienced anything like this. In our local stores they just keep the shelves bare, or move stuff around to places that literally make zero sense.
*Investigation underway to determine the cause of the sudden rise in newborn deaths in Scotland.
*Will advertisers eventually take over our dreams?
*Covid swabs have been used for harvesting DNA.
*The head of a German hospital claims that coronavirus is about dictatorship. Then he commits suicide by falling out of a window. This seems to happen more times than you would imagine.
*Beginning January 1, 2022, citizens of Singapore will no longer be allowed to use pre-event testing in lieu of being vaccinated.
*The new drug all the cool kids are doing is toad venom.
