Hello there. Here is a document stating that US Special Forces have been utilizing deepfakes in an effort to confuse and control us. I know this particular document only states the desire to use deepfakes, but come on, we all know they are already doing it. And this project is open-ended for the next few years, so you might as well not even turn on the news at all. You probably shouldn't have turned it on the last five years. Because it's all fake. The only reason to even turn on the news is so that you can understand the current narrative they are trying to push, but you should always understand that the narrative is not the truth.
They put this out in a non-classified way because they know that people won't even read these documents or even care enough to give it a second thought.
"Technology Areas of Interest: SOF are designed to operate across the continuum of campaigning, crisis, and conflict. SOF ‘operations will occur across all domains to include space and cyber to be in the forefront of the United States efforts confronting an emerging reality where our opponent possesses potential for ‘overmatching capabilities. The new “normal” for SOF will be to operate in communication contested environments, under threat of targeting by high-end military capabilities, including ‘Weapons of Mass Destruction, and where ubiquitous surveillance is routine, and information is weaponized."
How...delightful. Basically the cliffnotes of this document say that the intended goal is to lie to us on every single platform, through every single means necessary, making it virtually impossible to comprehend what is true and what is a lie, what is up and what is down.
I think this is a personal trigger for me because I've always known when someone was lying to me, even if I don't call them out on it. It is a terrible feeling, especially if it is someone you thought you could trust. I put up walls and can be a very suspicious person. (Big surprise to anyone reading this.) But in the long run, this government paranoia has helped me out.
The movie Wag the Dog, which I have not seen, was brought up. The plot is about a fake war that was created and completely deepfaked in order to take interest off the president's sex scandal with a minor. The crazy thing with this is that the Clinton/Lewinsky scandal happened a month after this movie was released. Coincidence? Eh, they do not exist. Fake news is constantly being created to lure us away from what is really going on.
What can you believe if everything they broadcast is a lie? Nothing you see through the lens of a screen, that's for sure. We are only allowed to see what they want to show us, and even then, it is all manipulated, contrived and absolutely false.
I can spot a fake human pretty easily, but is is harder for me to tell a fake landscape or nonliving entity from a real one.
Pray for the truth. It is the only way that you will ever be able to see past all these lies.
