for our next act, war or peace?

At the end of every year the Economist magazine puts together their predictions for the next year. And it looks like we are flat out being told to buckle in, because this is the year that things are going to happen.

I'm going to do a little break down of what I think this cover means because I like patterns and I enjoy breaking down symbolism, even though this cover seems pretty straightforward.

From the start it looks like we are being given the illusion of choice between voting for a president that will choose peace or one that will choose war. It looks like the war candidate will be an unnamed female. I'm thinking Kamala Harris or Michele Obama, but it could be a wildcard. The silhouette definitely doesn't look like either of them. Over on the side of peace and safety there is a clear Trump silhouette, but the question mark also tells us that it might only be someone standing in his place.

Considering we can see the whole picture is interconnected, we can understand that this means no matter who we choose it is all the same. Both candidates seem to lead towards some sort of space travel, which might lead up to Project Bluebeam. There are five eclipses this year and that also seems to hold significance.

On the war side of our choose your own illusion of adventure, it seems to lead to the internet of bodies, while peace and safety leads to a total crash of our banking systems and financial infrastructure. Neither Russia or China use the dollar anymore. Despite the massive brainwashing we have in regards to the mighty dollar, we are about to be humbled in that department no matter which side wins. It's all interconnected. Never forget that part. If you have saved up cash thinking that a piece of paper is going to count for anything in this new age, you are very wrong. Your best bet is to trade out that paper for some actual goods while you still can.

Both sides seem to allude to climate change problems (EVs all around!) and it seems to be pictures of raw minerals at the very bottom. I'm not quite sure about Australia and South America. Maybe something rolls out in those locations before anywhere else. Clearly they are letting us know that time is running out. You know, once the earth was cursed it was already too late to reverse the damage. The climate is changing, but even if everyone on earth drove an EV it wouldn't matter.

This can no longer be considered fear mongering, because people are beginning to have these conversations in real life now. People know something is coming, and they are straight up announcing that it will be coming in the first few months of 2024. I would really suggest at the very least stocking up on batteries, flashlights, candles, lighters, toiletries, canned goods, medicines, water and pet food. If you got some Christmas money maybe it's a good idea to invest in an emergency stock. Have enough to sustain you and your family for a few weeks so that when (not if, this is a when situation now) you will not have to leave your home as it initially hits the fan.
