a long, long time ago, there was a king who lived on an island...

I forgot today was election day. It is a surreal feeling to me to see some of my peers still believing this is real. I understand why the boomer generation might still be sucked into the propaganda, but to see people my age still drinking the political Kool-aid is a little weird (to me.) I am sure I am a little weird to most everyone.

Last week I was telling Lincoln that taking a nap in the car is like magic. One minute you're here, the next minute you're halfway to your destination. Yesterday we drove home from our Kings Island trip and the minute we hit the interstate I was out. I kind of feel bad for Peppy, because every single trip it is like, "Adios! See you when we get home."

I didn't take many pictures at Kings Island. It was a little more crowded than the crowd calendar had predicted- Sunday was definitely NOT only 10% full, more like 50%, but we never waited more than 45 minutes for anything, and most things were just around a 15-20 minute wait. We ended up buying season passes, because it was literally the same price as going to the park two days, plus season passes include free parking, so it was actually cheaper to just do it this way. And since the Cedar Fair parks merged with the Six Flags parks we can go to Cedar Point, Kings Island, Carrowinds, Kings Dominion, and all the Six Flags parks with our passes. I'm not saying we will be able to hit up all those parks within a year, but we will definitely make use of having Six Flags passes again, and Lord willing we will have a Cedar Point/Kings Island trip when they open again next year.

The chemtrails were insane over the Nashville area yesterday. If some new contagion is spread this week around that area I would not be surprised. There were ten or fifteen huge Xes sprayed all over Nashville on the way home.

This had to be the tallest drop tower I have ever been on. It was at least 300 feet, and it slowly rotated in a circle as it was going up. It really gave you amazing views of the park, especially when we rode it after dark.
We wasted SO MUCH TIME in line for Flight of Fear. It broke down 3 out of the 4 times we waited. I wanted to ride it again, but it wasn't worth the gamble of spending more time in line.
I mentioned on my last post that the first night Gage and I decided to take an Uber home because Owsley wanted to stay until closing, and we did not. Gage had recently had that weird new contagious pneumonia a couple weeks ago and even though he is feeling better, after 10 hours of walking and riding rides, he was tired. And since I had been awake since 4 am and my bedtime is normally around 9:30, so was I.

I had never taken an Uber without Peppy before, and when Gage and I left the park to meet our driver it was kind of crazy. All the fog had seeped through into the parking lot and everything was smokey and red, making it very easy to get confused where you were headed. I was actually surprised that Gage and I found our driver, because apparently he had never picked up a passenger from Kings Island before and was also confused, which I thought was odd, but whatever. We didn't talk at all on our ride, which was fine with me, but he was blasting Eminem and Dr. Dre which was kind of hilarious. Totally explicit lyrics, while Gage and I rode through the sleepy town of Mason, Ohio, with a stranger. We both thought it was funny and it definitely felt like it was straight from a sitcom. Peppy said he was even impressed with our ability to find the driver, because he had fully expected to have to leave the park and help us.

Cedar Point definitely wins when it comes to which park has better coasters, but man, night rides on Mystic Timbers and especially on the Beast were fantastic. It was pitch black and you were going through the woods on these tracks where you could literally see nothing. It felt like I was a wild beast ripping through the woods in the middle of the night. I'm serious....the Beast is over 4 minutes long and riding it at night where you can't see anything is a pretty amazing experience.

So...election day, I honestly don't know who is going to win. I usually at least have a feeling, and I got nothing. I am praying that God's will be done and that his true believers will see through this charade and stop placing their trust in a house of cards. He's the only thing real here anyway. The air certainly has a weird feel to it this morning.
