"Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall." -Proverbs 16:18
"Whenever people say "peace and security," then sudden destruction will come upon them, like the birth pangs of a pregnant woman, and they will not escape." -1 Thessalonians 5:3
I know it doesn't matter who ever wins an election because the president is just a mouth piece to whoever is pulling the strings around here, but I guess I have a hard time understanding how such a large majority of people would vote for an obviously corrupt and evil human. The people who are screaming "SAVE THE BABIES!" seem to fail to understand Trump's personal involvement with Epstein. What about the children here? Are we saving the babies so they can be trafficked and molested later on?
I just cannot wrap my head around anyone who claims to love the true God and the true Christ and still supports this man (or politics in general.) Obviously someone was going to win, but honestly, no one has been talking politics in real life so I didn't really have a good idea of who might win. I did not feel a pull either way, but I did feel like people had to understand he was in cahoots with Epstein. Surely that would cause some of his God fearing followers to do a record scratch, right?
It makes me so sad to think that unbelievers associate Christians with Trump. My heart is grieving for all the smugness involved. (Here's a great article "How Trump lured Evangelicals to follow Satan")
But then I try to look at it from a spiritual point of view and I remember, duh, you knew Trump would win. You've known for years. He's part of this end times plan. He's an antichrist through and through, and there is not one iota of righteousness or truthfulness found in him. I will pray for him though, because I know he's going to be used for something big and hopefully it will cause more people to turn to God.
Well, looks like this is all going according to prophecy, and oh, this world was made for ending. I am not looking forward to the puffed-up, gloated attitudes of white nationalists who will believe Trump's win reinforces the false narrative that America was founded on Christian beliefs and that God is America's #1 fan. I am praying for everyone who still believes this man can save us from anything.
"Cursed is the one who trusts in man, who draws strength from mere flesh and whose hearts turn away from the Lord." -Jeremiah 17:5
